That star is orbiting the centre of a galaxy at 250 kilometers per second. Again we are talking about seconds. That's even faster.

Now this galaxy is moving through the universe at a rate of 600 kilometers per second.

Actually since you started reading this, you have travelled about 3 000 kilometers.

And oh, the universe this galaxy is in is also expanding at 60 kilometers per seconds
