RETURNS, REFUNDS, MODIFICATIONS AND EXCHANGES

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since you receive your purchase at the delivery address, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Returns
To complete a return, please contact us a contact@thingsofthestars.com and include your order number in the e-mail as well as a precision as to the item you want to return and the reason of the return.

If the reason is a damaged good upon arrival, please include photos and/or videos of the damage in the e-mail. We arrange an exchange and replacement of the damaged item. In such cases you must contact us in the next 7 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return, your item must in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Custom made goods, goods intended for personal use and goods marked as "final sale" are exempt from being returned. 

We do not cover replacements costs for orders that were delivered but unclaimed or refused by the recipient.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Cancellations and modifications
Since most of our process is automated. we do not guarantee that we will be able to cancel or modify an order once it has been placed.

That being said, if you notice an error in your order or you want to modify or cancel it, please contact us as soon as possible at contact@thingsofthestars.com with the object Order Cancellation (or Modification). Please include your order number in the e-mail.
We will do our best to process your modification or cancellation if it is still possible.

However, if the automated process is too far advanced, you will need to wait to receive the items and go through the return and refund process (see above).
Costs related to an address input error by the customer will be charged to the customer.


Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
In circumstances related to a return due to our error (example goods arrived damage), we will refund/cover the shipping cost for you.

If you are shipping an item over $75 USD, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
